A few boats, a winding creek and a basket that always seems one fish short. Creekside Catch is a gentle contest where players choose a riverbank spot and match their cards to the fish moving through the water.
The shared creek changes between turns, so a little flexibility goes a long way. Collecting a useful mix can matter more than holding out for the biggest fish.

Around the table
Find a bank
Place your boat beside an open creek space.
Choose a catch
Play a matching card to collect a fish.
Fill your basket
Complete your basket goals before the final round.
The basket tells you what is useful.
A large fish is tempting, but first look at the basket you are trying to fill. A smaller matching catch nearby may serve that goal more directly. As the creek changes, the useful question becomes what you can collect now, rather than what you hoped would still be there.
Helping a new fisher settle in
Place one catch card beside the fish it matches during your explanation. That small demonstration connects the card in a player’s hand to the water everyone can see. Creekside Catch suits two to four people; choose Market Pennies if a fifth chair needs a place in the same game.
