Market Pennies begins with a pocketful of copper-coloured tokens and an inviting row of stalls. Gather produce, exchange what you do not need and complete shopping lists without spending your last penny too early.
A market day has room for both careful saving and an opportunistic swap. Coins are tabletop resources only, with no cash value or prizes.

Complete a list
Deliver the right goods and refresh your plans for the next turn.
A shopping list is also a plan for your purse.
You can buy produce that looks useful, but your list may need a different combination. Before emptying the purse, check the remaining goods and whether an exchange could help. Market Pennies makes the next purchase easier to understand when the whole list is in view.
Set out a readable market
Keep produce, shopping lists and unspent penny tokens in separate groups. Players new to resource games may enjoy watching a full purchase-and-list example before beginning. This is Brelunavo’s longest listed game and the one that welcomes up to five people around the board.
